Something to Chew On.
Overview.
Branding for nationally backed healthy eating project in conjunction with the
Food Standards Agency, the Premier League Creating Chances programme,
the Football Foundation and the Manchester United Foundation.
The work.
Something to Chew On is an interactive project aimed at teaching 7-8 year olds about their own health and wellbeing with a football centric message. The project centred around a 100 page, national curriculum based, core programme pack. This was split into two main sections, classroom based and physical sessions.
First up we had to design the brand which underpinned the project (and subsequently allowed the programme to be sold into the RFU, the Rugby Football Union, to be used as a basis for their own sessions). Once the pack was completed we created and provided art direction for the remainder of the supporting assets such as the accompanying DVD, giveaways to children and certificates of accomplishment for schools that participated.
Our thoughts:
This was a fantastic project to work on for us as it took us into some mediums like DVD production that we rarely get the chance to work with.
